Kim Kosalec

Five words: Kim makes the impossible happen. No one understands where her endless supply of energy streams from. It’s not drugs. We suspect her kids and the dog. She’s the nuclear reactor that powers the production processes of house SOOT. Having spent a decade in corporate operations and another half in running global production ops for a textile production company gives her unique ability to keep all the threads alive and well. Her experience working with the global supply chain of clothes and fabrics manufacturers makes your brand's collection happen seamlessly. She's also the person that came up with the name SOOT.
Ana Benje
branding & research lead ⏐CMO/co-founder
Ana is a failed PhD student. In her 4+ years as an academic researcher, she studied the psychology of logos and group identities. She is as eclectic as they come. In her 10 years of various international marketing positions, she found her state of flow in doing in-depth qualitative market research at a global brand positioning agency. Venturing on her own, she and Kim got talking (and talking) about making brands physical - and co-founded SOOT. Ana gets nitty-gritty with the consumer psychology behind our client’s brands so our design team can work their magic into a wearable story for your brand.
Tjaša Zalar
fashion design lead
Tjaša is a fashion design prodigy, having had her first fashion show in Ljubljana where she was awarded a prestigious Mercedez Benz Fashion Award. She is an incredible artist that brings our client's story to life through the medium of fabrics and clothes. She has a unique eye for details, creativity in wearable storytelling, and expert insight into the technical aspects of collection production. Because of her, the work is not only gorgeous but produced with precision and on time.
